Ashley is a Research Fellow at the North American Arctic Defence and Security Network.

After graduating with her Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree at the University of Manitoba in Spring of 2022, she began her Master of Arts Political Studies degree in the Fall of 2022. Her research interests include Arctic security, strategic studies, and military history. She held the 2022-2023 J.W. Dafoe Graduate Fellowship for Study in International Relations, and currently holds the 2023-2024 Duff Roblin Political Studies Fellowship.

Ashley previously worked for the Government of Manitoba in various policy and special project roles. She currently works for the Government of Canada as a Junior Policy Analyst and holds a Teaching Assistantship at the University of Manitoba.
