Guillaume Côté

Guillaume leads International Strategy for Mission Systems, a Collins Aerospace business focussing on defence. His role is to develop strategies to support Collins’ connected battlespace priority in the Five-Eyes countries. As such, he has responsibilities over market and political/economical analysis, capture strategies, and corporate development. Collins has over 68000 employees in over 150 sites around the world. In Canada, Collins has around 1200 employees and specifically on defence, Collins has in Kanata cutting edge expertise in secure and resilient communications. Prior to working at Collins, which he joined three years ago, Guillaume worked 10 year for the Government of Canada in roles where he led innovation, aerospace and defence policy teams. Guillaume has a background in political science, and later developed expertise in innovation ecosystems conducting research at the graduate level. He holds a B.A (Laval and Lausanne), a M.Sc (INRS), a PhD (INRS) and a French Doctorate (Toulouse). Most recently, Guillaume is leading Collins Aerospace’s contribution to DND MINDS program which is looking at the impacts of emerging technology on Canadian defence policy.
