Lindsay Speirs
Research Fellow
Lindsay Speirs is a Master of Arts candidate in Political Science at the University of Manitoba. She is currently a student research fellow at the University’s Centre for Defence and Security Studies. She earned her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science from the University of Manitoba.
Her research interests include contemporary great power competition, strategic studies, the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), and Arctic security. Previous publications include a co-authored Canadian international and domestic threat assessment for the Conference of Defence Associations Institute’s threat assessment series, and a co-authored chapter on the UNSC in the Elgar Encyclopedia of Sanctions.
