SepGeopolitics on Tap: Myths in Arctic Security
Amidst growing geopolitical turbulence – Russia’s war in Ukraine, the rise of China as a global power, and renewed U.S. nationalism under Trump 2.0 – the security landscape is shifting, including in the Arctic. Yet, myths and misconceptions still color how we talk about the North. In this pubinar, we bring in early-career professionals from academia, industry, and politics together to take those myths head-on. Drawing on expertise that ranges from hard security to climate and Indigenous issues, they will tackle two simple questions: What are the real security problems in the Arctic today? And what must we do to address them?
Grab a beer, join the rapid-fire discussion, and leave with a clearer view of Arctic security.
