NovThe Third Annual Canada-Norway Gauntlet Seminar: Countering Multi-Domain Hybrid Threats
Hybrid threats, harmful activities that are planned and carried out with malign intent, are increasing in speed, scale, and intensity in the North American Arctic and European High North. The Gauntlet Seminar is named in honour of Operation GAUNTLET in 1941, when Canada led a successful but little-known combined operation by a task force consisting of Norwegian, Canadian, and British forces, in Svalbard, Norway. Operation GAUNTLET represented Canada’s first expeditionary operation in the Arctic, fostering strong and enduring ties between Norway, Canada, and other allies. NAADSN is proud to co-organize this signature event with the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Ottawa.
