In addition to her communications role, she is a regular host and contributor to The Field Report, one of the network’s podcasts. Her episodes have covered topics such as the 2024 NATO Summit, Congressional Affairs and American-Canadian Relations, and Climate Security.

Amy also has professional experience in climate adaptation, having worked with British Columbia’s Interior Health Authority on building community heat resilience in rural areas, with the Ministry of Emergency Management and Climate Readiness, and as a Climate Action Policy Researcher for the Climate Caucus.

Additionally, Amy serves as a Committee Member for the Advisory Committee on Diversity for Maritime Forces Pacific and is a founding member of the Feminizing First Aid Working Group, an initiative based in British Columbia that seeks to address gender disparities in first aid practices.

Most recently, Amy had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Arctic Field School, traveling to Alaska and the Yukon to engage with the unique challenges and opportunities of the Arctic region.
