My name is Chase Thompson and I am a senior at Colgate University where I am a double major in Environmental Studies as well as Peace and Conflict Studies with a concentration in Russian and Eurasian Studies. My interest in the Arctic truly began in high school when I wrote a 300 page book that was a comprehensive overview on everything related to the Arctic. Since then, I have studied abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark where I took classes on Arctic geopolitics and the environment. I aspire to pursue a career relating to Arctic defence and security. When I am not learning at school, I enjoy reading and skiing.
