Kari Roberts is Associate Professor of Political Science and Chair of the Department of Economics, Justice, and Policy Studies at Mount Royal University in Calgary. Her research is primarily concerned with Russian foreign policy toward the West, with a specific emphasis on Russia-US relations and Russia’s interests in the Arctic as they relate to Russia’s wider foreign policy goals. She is the co-editor of Rethinking the Great Power Rivalry: The Ascendency of Regional Powers in Contemporary US-China Relations.
