I am currently a PhD student in Political Science at the University of Calgary and holds a Master of Strategic Studies from the University of Calgary’s Centre for Military and Strategic Studies (CMSS). My research interests include Maritime and Arctic security, great power geopolitics, insurgency/terrorism, and counterinsurgency/counterterrorism warfare. My doctoral research focuses on examining the great power competition between the United States, Russia, and China. Specifically, how they can grant each other’s legitimate national interests without disrupting the international order in the maritime and Arctic domains.
