Michael Cabral

Michael Cabral holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from Queen’s University and a dual Master’s in Public Administration and Global Affairs from the London School of Economics and the Munk School of Global Affairs. He is also a Fellow with the Canadian Maritime Security Network and serves on the Editorial Board of the Canadian Naval Review.
His research examines strategic competition below the threshold of armed conflict and its implications for Canada, focusing on geoeconomics, Arctic domain awareness, and integrated air and missile defence. His recent work analyses the electromagnetic operating environment, highlighting how congestion in higher frequencies impacts Canadian national security.
