Nicole Butler
Research Fellow
Nicole Butler is a graduate student in the Security Studies Program at Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service. Within her degree she has specialized in Arctic security and maritime defense, completing a thesis on the consequences of United States securitization of Greenland policy on Arctic global governance. She has interned with both the Wilson Center’s Polar Institute and the University of Toronto’s Arctic360, was a Research Assistant at Georgetown University’s Institute for the Study of Diplomacy, and has consulted for the United Nations.
