Serafima Andreeva is a Researcher at the Fridtjof Nansen Institute in Oslo, Norway. Serafima’s main research interests are governance and geopolitical dynamics in the Arctic, with a primary focus on analyzing the geopolitical tensions after 2022 and the changing governance dynamics. She has published literature on science-diplomacy in the Arctic, particularly by analysing the Arctic Council. She has also studied Russian climate policy and climate adaptation at the regional level, as well as Russian security politics in the Arctic region, and Arctic shipping along the Northern Sea Route.
